Originally built in 1967, the Radisson Ballroom underwent a major renovation in 2013. By reconfiguring the perimeter circulation of the ballroom, Page was able to provide floor to ceiling glass within the ballroom and create unique, expansive views toward Lady Bird Lake and Trail. The ballroom ceiling consists of a combination of wood and acoustic panels that were designed to help the ballroom function as a single large space, or several smaller spaces, giving the client as much flexibility as possible. In addition to the renovation of the 6,000-square-foot ballroom, Page also removed some interior walls and created a 2,000-square-foot pre-function area that allows for much needed overflow space. As part of the renovations, Page also designed improvements to the outdoor pool and surrounding terrace.
