Page’s work at Grinnell College’s Humanities & Social Studies Center has won two AIA Chapter design awards: an AIA Connecticut Design Award in the Excellence in the Commercial, Institutional, Educational, or Multi-Family Residential Design – Large category; and an AIA North Carolina Merit Award in Design.
One AIA North Carolina juror said the project was “Notable to us for the way it handled the integration of really complex elements at play in institutional projects, between existing buildings and new buildings, the building and the landscape, and between the campus and the town. It was obvious that a lot of thought and intent had gone into that side of the project, alongside making a project that felt very tactile and warm.”
